Make eLearning More Engaging with an eLearning Developer

Hire an expert who can use technology to bring your course content to life

eLearning development that starts with the learner, not the authoring tool

The right authoring tool for every eLearning development project — every time

The eLearning landscape has changed dramatically. Where once there were one or two dominant authoring tools, there's now a wide range of powerful authoring tools, each with its own strengths, weaknesses, and ideal use cases.

Rather than fitting your content around whatever software happens to be on the shelf, I take a different approach: I start with your analysis, then choose the authoring tool that will fit it best.

Through a trusted network of specialist partners, I can draw on expertise across the full range of leading eLearning authoring tools — selecting the right one for your content, your audience, and your budget.

Instructional design versus graphic design

Great eLearning isn't just about slick interactions or polished visuals, it's about genuinely changing what people know, think, or do. That's where instructional design comes in. After 20+ years in learning and development, my expertise is in structuring content so it actually works: clear learning pathways, meaningful practice, and experiences that stick.

Graphic design is a different craft entirely, and I've never pretended otherwise. What I have built over two decades is a network of talented eLearning developers who can take my rough ideas and turn them into visuals that elevate your content and reinforce your brand. Instructional design and graphic design, you don't have to choose.

A partnership built around your needs

Whether you need a rapid-build microlearning module, a complex branching scenario, or a full blended learning programme, I'll bring together the right people and the right tools to deliver it. No shoehorning. No compromise. Just learning that works.

How it works to hire an instructional designer for eLearning

  • Step 1 - static eLearning course designs

getting the look and feel right

We’ll start with the look and feel of your eLearning. I’ll let you have up to 6 static designs of potential screens ideas which you can review twice and make modifications.

  • Step 2 - development of your training course ideas

with a chance for your review

Next, I’ll develop your eLearning from your storyboard and send you a review link. You and your other stakeholders can comment on any changes you’d like to make through two review cycles.

  • Step 3 - bringing your learning course ideas to life

    time to publish

Finally, I’ll send the files to you to upload to your platform.

Articulate 360 publishes to SCORM or HTML5.

  • Step 4 - implementing eLearning ideas in your business

    over to you

Over to you. Upload your eLearning to the platform of your choice and make it available to your learners.

Don’t forget the final step in the ADDIE process and evaluate the eLearning once it’s live.
